He was predeceased by: his brother Edward Cable; and his parents, Earl and Helen. He is survived by: his spouses, Jeanne A. Putsch and Elizabeth Wilt-Cable of Ames; his children, Matthew J. Cable (Val Camparo) of Ankeny, IA and Stephen K. Cable (Courtney) of Riverside, IA; his grandchildren, Silas Cable of Riverside, IA and Theda Cable of Riverside, IA; his stepchildren, Melissa Wilt of Oak Park, Dustin Wilt of Plymouth, MN and Josepth Wilt (Erikka) of Minitonka, MN; his stepgrandchildren, Lars Olson, Soren Olson of Oak Park, Ill, Hugh Wilt of Minnitonka, MN, Seth, Nate and Matthew Garland of Ankeny, IA; his sisters, Cathy Porter (Jim) of Urbandale and Patricia Felix (Steve) of Sioux City; and his children, Matt, Steve and Jim. He is also survived by nieces and other relatives and friends.
