She is survived by: her children, Steve Luft (Maria) of Des Moines, Royce Quinn (Kevin) of Colo, Lynda Reid of Maxwell and Carla Peltier (Mark) of Algonquin; and her brothers, Wayne Allen of Tacoma and Donald Allen of Norfolk. She is also survived by grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family which will fund projects at Ada Hayden Heritage Park and Grandview Heights Care Center in Marshalltown.
