We are sad to announce that on July 4, 2019, at the age of 94, John B. Whited (Ames, Iowa), born in Denison, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John G. Whited and Alice Sophie Mesenbrink Whited; his siblings, Betty Detlefsen, Hertha Saxton and Roy; and his half-siblings, Dewey Whited, Gloria Jean Whited, Kathryn Wulf and Mildred Rusch.
He is survived by: his stepmother Florence; his wife Marjorie; his children, Diana, John (Nancy Dunn), Marcia (Peter Simons) and Berton (Maureen); his sister Gladys Rusch; and his half-siblings, Wilber Whited, Shirley Flores, Rosalie Williams, Phyllis Schauf, Peggy Shumate, Ruby Ann Beerman, Darlene Justice and Joleen Carstenson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
