She is survived by: her parent Claude Gordon; her spouse Jimmy DeReus; her mother Frances Wells Picken of Oskaloosa; her children, Jo Dee Amundson (Russ) of Ames, IA, James Shawn DeReus (Laurie) of Palmetto, GA and Jon Richard DeReus of Ankeny, IA; and her sister Sue Ellen Wells of Milwaukee, WI. She is also survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
