With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen Anne Nelson of Ames, Iowa, who passed away on December 11, 2021 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father William Giblin; and her parents-in-law, Melvin and Iona Nelson. She is survived by: her mother Roberta Giblin; her husband Joel Nelson; her children, Cale and McKinley "Mac" Nelson; her daughter-in-law Annell Nelson; her grandchildren, Griffin and Ariyah; and her siblings, Sharon, Michael, Tom, William, Timothy, Shelia, Maggie and Mary. She is also survived by extended family and close friends.
