He is survived by: his wife Norva Charter of Ames; his sons, Bryan Charter (Sandi) of Ames and David Charter (Mary) of Woodward; his grandchildren, Taylor Charter, Kyle Charter of Ames, Scott Toms of Boone, Ariel Charter of Woodward and Micki Charter of Woodward; his siblings, Dave Davis of Jacksonville, FL, Russell Davis of Freeport, TX, Delores Barton of Georgia and Ruth Roberts of Cedar Rapids; and his sister-in-law Lila Moore (Leroy).
