Langland (Ames, Iowa), born in Williams, Iowa, who passed away on June 16, 2018, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nellie Langland (Woster) and Severin Langland; and his siblings, Gladys Peterson, Margaret Johnson, Delores Sherwood, Arleane Stewart, Francis Langland and Floyd Langland.
He is survived by: his wife Alma of Ottumwa; his children, Susan Moore (Mike) of Carroll, IA, Jim Langland (Cherie) of Ottumwa, Tom Langland (Penny) of Morris, IL and John Langland (Traci) of Iowa City, IA; his grandchildren, Ian Moore (Hannah), Nathaniel Moore, Jack Langland, Tomas Langland, Steven Langland, Nellie Langland, Oliver Langland, Schyler Cochran (Kevin), Brittani Langland, Christopher Langland and Brooke Langland; his great grandchild Charlotte Moore; his sister-in-law Esther Langland; and also Norwegian. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Ottumwa Public Library, Boy Scouts of America Troop 11 of Ottumwa, or the First Lutheran Church of Ottumwa.
