She was predeceased by: her husband Lyle; and her siblings, Lee Schwanz (Kathleen) of Madison, Wis. and Margaret Rae. She is survived by: her children, Linda (James) of Churchville, NY, Eric (Tatyana) of Ames, Iowa and David (Liz) of Boulder, Colo.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
Margaret Alice Schwanz Abbott, 98, of Heartwood House Alzheimer's Care Unit at Northcrest Retirement Community in Ames, and originally from Lorimor, Iowa, died June 1 at Heartwood House.
