He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Ritland and Bette Ritland; his sisters, Pat Ritland-Willig and Rosemary Low; and his brother-in-law Roger Low.
He is survived by: his brother Michael Ritland (Dori) of Eau Claire, WI; his brother-in-law Louis Willig of Penn Valley, PA; his sibling's children, Erika Low, Kristin Pressler (Brian), Victoria Adams, Katie Clouse (Bill), Mara Sonnenschein-Chanin (Josh), Eric Sonnenschein and Craig Sonnenschein (Jean Robinson); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Britta Pressler, Annika Clouse, Phoebe Chanin, Jenna Sonnenschein, Dane Clouse, Bjorn Pressler and Sean Sonnenschein. He is also survived by many other relatives, and close friends.
