She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Nathan James Meldrem and Evy Jane Sanders Meldrem; her son Charles Whisenand; her siblings, Zadie Ross (Thompson), Claire Meldrem (Alene), Lyle Meldrem, Norma Duffus (Harold), James Meldrem (Betty) and Marlon Meldrem; and her parents-in-law, Donald Whisenand (June), Issac "Jack" Whisenand, Ralph Ogan, Jr. and Duane Phillips.
She is survived by: her husband Paul; and her daughters, Sherill Whisenand of Des Moines and Mary Whisenand of Des Moines.
