It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul E. Palmer (Ames, Iowa), born in Vinton, Iowa, who passed away on March 10, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Palmer and Florence Palmer (Kurtz); his wife Althea; his sons, Robert Palmer and Tom Palmer; and his brothers, Wallace Palmer (Jackie) and Morris Palmer (Marie).

He is survived by: his son Doug Palmer (Kay) of Mosinee, Wisconsin; and his granddaughters, Julie Palmer of Boone, Lisa Palmer (Brandon Davidson) of Des Moines, Amy Palmer of Chicago and Michelle Palmer of Dekalb.
