She was predeceased by: her parents, John Berrett and Ellen Nellie Berrett (Lloyd); her husband Orland Stensland; her siblings, John, Harry, Robert Berrett, Marguerite Bauge and Rene Hockman; and her sons, Dave and Tom.
She is survived by: her son Ron Stensland (Virginia) of Ames; her daughter-in-law Joan Stensland of Ames; and her grandchildren, Jeff Stensland (Kristie), Julie Schrader (Craig), Rhonda Stensland, Renae Gatewood (Larry) and Jessie Larson (Josh).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fjeldberg Lutheran Church or Israel Family Hospice in Ames.
