He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Francis and Frances Cody (Tucker); and his brother Joseph. He is survived by: his wife Anita; his grandchildren, Lily and Robbie Hayes; his son Nicholas Robert Cody of Chicago; and his friend Fred DeLuca of Ames.
