We are sad to announce that on October 22, 2019, at the age of 85, Walter Junior Ward (Ames, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Ward and Mary Ward (Dyer); and his wife Shirley Ward. He is survived by: his former wife Rita Rasmussen; his sisters, Mary Black (Gene) of Norman, OK, June Oswald of Brownsdale, MN and Sylvie Larson of Thor, IA; his children, Tara Scrogin (Scott) of Omaha, NE, Trevin Ward (Peggy) of Ames and Tyann Ward of Des Moines; and his stepchildren, Kim Crawford of Spokane, WA, Scott Sowles of Chino, CA, Monte Sowles of West Covina, CA and Joel Van Hemert of Pella. He is also survived by many grandchildren and extended family.
