She was predeceased by : her parents, William Wright and Dorothy Wright (Brewer); her husband Ronald Warthen; her siblings, Mary Lou Simmering and Ronald; and her nephew Scott Knebel.

She is survived by : her daughter Michelle Warthen Moyer; and her sisters, Marlys Brownlie (Arlo), Laurie Whestine (Ken) and Margie Barrera (Henry). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the Goettsch Funeral Home (306 E 1st St, Anamosa, IA 52205). A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the Forest Chapel Cemetery.
