He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry DeLong and Joanne DeLong (Shields); and his sister Julie DeLong. He is survived by: his wife Chris Lamy Bodensteiner; his daughters, Sara Stephenson (Alex) of Center Point and Katy DeLong of Central City; his brother Doug DeLong (Mary) of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Hayden DeLong, Lucy Stephenson and Roman Stephenson; and his nephew Luke DeLong.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Fawn Creek Country Club (1601 130th St, Anamosa, IA 52205).
