It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine E. Dermody (Andover, Iowa), born in Clinton, Iowa, who passed away on July 30, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene J. Boyle and Ethel M. Boyle (Zeller); her husband Jack Dermody; and her siblings, Dorothy Machovic and Jim Boyle.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Dermody (Jeanne) of Waukesha, WI and Lisa Gilbert of Minneapolis; her grandchildren, Michael Dermody (Gena), Britani Gilbert, Caitlin Dermody and Abby Dermody; her sisters, Diane Phillis (Bud) of Rock Island and Ruth Ann Thomas of Cedar Rapids; and also Mike Lyons. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
