She was predeceased by : her parents, Denise King (Dorsey) and Kennth King; her parents-in-law, Roy and Alta Aupperle (Hutchins); and her brothers, Rex King and Richard King.
She is survived by : her husband Neil Aupperle; her children, David Aupperle (Jeanne Schwab) of Omaha, NE, Mark Aupperle (Diane) of Atlantic, IA and Ellen Kaufmann (Joe) of Anita, IA; her grandson Shay Kaufmann (Jessica); her great grandchild Emmett Kaufmann of Norwalk, IA; her granddaughter Jenna Zant (Nick); and her great grandchild Bexley of Sioux City, IA. She is also survived by nephews and nieces, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the United Methodist Church. A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
The family requests memorials in her memory to the Anita Methodist Church and can be left or mailed to the Schmidt Family Funeral Home at P.O. Box 523 – Atlantic, IA 50022.
