She was predeceased by: her parents, Everette A. Smith and Lilly H. Smith. She is survived by: her husband David A. Miller; her children, Beverly Kerr (Dan) and Michael Miller (Karen Good); and her grandchildren, Justin Kerr and Sarah Kerr.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to MercyOne Des Moines Hospice or Heifer International.
