With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mark Boldt (Ankeny, Iowa), born in Iowa City, Iowa, who passed away on April 21, 2020 at the age of 47. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mark Boldt to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his father Gary Boldt; his sister Amy; and his grandmothers, McKibben and Wilcox. He is survived by: his mother Suzanne Boldt (McKibben) of Gladbrook; his former spouse Kim Fagerlind; his daughter McKenna (Tyler Ward) of Des Moines; his close friend Rose McKim of Ankeny; his stepson Austin Boyd; his brother David "Spanky" (Mandy); his nephews, Clayton and Lane Boldt of Traer; and also, Sheyenne, Jaylynn and Hunter. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2020 at Mitchell Family Funeral Home, 1209 Iowa Avenue West, Marshalltown, from 2:00 p. m. until 4:00 p. m. Due to the COVID-19 social distancing protocol, this will be a drive-in style visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
