Roberta Irene Strother Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roberta Irene Strother (Ankeny, Iowa), born in Monroe, Iowa, who passed away on November 30, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Roberta may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Roberta touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ron; and her parents, Robert Ramsey and Irene Ramsey. She is survived by: her son Todd Strother (Dana); and her grandchildren, Haiden and Gable.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church (3223 University Ave, Des Moines, IA 50311). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
