It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gladys Bakker (Arlington, Iowa), who passed away on June 2, 2019, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Gladys Bakker to show support.

She was predeceased by : her parents, George Hempen and Fannie Hempen (Konken); her husband John Bakker; her children, Elaine and James; her son-in-law Keith; and her sister Hazel Kruse.

She is survived by : her grandchildren, Kevin (Kimra) of Kasson, MN, Kent (Jenn) of Grundy Center and Emily Schuneman of Steamboat Rock; her great grandchildren, Kalianne Venenga, Kyle Venenga, Tyler Venenga, Paige Venenga, Erica Schuneman, Bryce Schuneman and Trevor Schuneman; and her nieces, Charlotte Bakker and Carolyn Thesing.
