We are sad to announce that on March 31, 2019 we had to say goodbye to Alveda Gronewold (Atlantic, Iowa). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Chris Meints and Bertha Meints; her siblings, Raymond, Edwin and Esther; and her grandson Marcus Precella.

She is survived by : her husband Hal; her children, Christy Wood of Atlantic, Stephanie Ramm (Jim) of Des Moines and David Gronewold (Charlene) of League City, TX; her granddaughters, Katy Beckman (Dan), Jessica Farnsworth (Anthony), Karen Wood, Amy Wood and Marie Precella; and her great grandchildren, Cayden Dalme, Brianna Farnsworth, Cash Dalme and Camryn Dalme. She is also survived by several brothers/sisters-in-law; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the local Alzheimer's Association, or to the Nishna Valley Family YMCA, St. Paul's Lutheran Church, or the Atlantic Animal Shelter.
