He was predeceased by : his parents, Nels Berg and Hertha Berg; and his wife Wanda Berg. He is survived by : his children, Rex Berg of Atlantic, IA and Lin Briley (Kurt) of Omaha, NE; his grandchildren, Nicholas Briley (Allison) of Omaha, NE and Bethany VanRoy (Jeff) of Omaha, NE; his great grandchildren, Ara of Omaha, NE, Grace of Omaha, NE, Tate Briley of Omaha, NE and Ellie VanRoy of Omaha, NE; his sister Lorraine Tharp of Denver, CO; and his sisters-in-law, Norma Anderson of Denver, CO and Bonnie Knott of Griswold, IA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the First Evangelical Lutheran Church Ladies Aid.
