She was predeceased by : her parents, Ira Potter and Anna Clemensen Potter; her husband Glenn Aagaard; her sister Beverly (Leroy Stone); her siblings-in-law, Emmert Aagaard, Robert (Ardyce Aagaard), Sena Jacobsen, Bertha (Jack Bradbury), Mary Ann (Ben Nelson) and Maxine (Richard Nelson); her cousin Patricia (Gary Berg); and her uncles, Hans and Jens Clemensen.
She is survived by : her children, Jeff (Cathy Aagaard), Jon (Faith Aagaard) of Wheaton, Illinois, Jim (Pam Aagaard) of Edina, Minnesota and Julie (Jim Holte) of Coralville, Iowa; and her grandchildren, Jennifer (Damon Dyche) of Ames, Iowa, John (Susan Aagaard) of Rockville, Maryland, Mike (Lindsey Aagaard) of Woodbury, Minnesota, Sarah (Brian Ligon) of Evanston, Illinois, Jon Aagaard of Wheaton, Illinois, Greg (Carly Aagaard) of Wheaton, Illinois, Anne (Greg Sparacio) of Wheaton, Illinois, Tom (Bianca Aagaard) of Wheaton, Illinois, Jenna (Ryan Seager) of Wheaton, Illinois, Katy (Tim Murphy) of St. Louis Park, Minnesota, Daniel (Ashley Aagaard) of Edina, Minnesota, Ali (David Reese) of Edina, Minnesota, David (Kristen Holte) of Eugene, Oregon, Andrew Holte of Hanover and Ryan Holte of Boston, Massachusetts. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren; as well as many cousins and nieces.
Because of health concerns related to Covid, a private family funeral service will be held at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Audubon, Iowa with Pastor Dan Beattie officiating.
