He was predeceased by: his grandparents, John, Aurelia Jaeger, Donald and Marjorie Herbig; and his aunt June Herbig.

He is survived by: his parents, David Jaeger and Debra Jaeger; his siblings, Karen Ryder (Joe) of Dubuque, Kris Roebken (Doug) of Durango and Keith Jaeger (Katie Turnmeyer) of Sherrill; his siblings' children, Courtney, Emalee Ryder, Andrew Ryder, Brett Koehn, Tanner, Colton Roebken, Austin Pope and Mason Jaeger; and his aunts and uncles, Dianne Jaeger, Donna Welter (Gerald), Gary Herbig and Terry Herbig (Vickie).

In lieu of flowers a Kevin J. Jaeger Memorial Fund has been established.
