It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Carder of Batavia, Iowa, born in Sac City, Iowa, who passed away on May 31, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Carder and Dorothy Carder (Penniman); and his sister Aurelia McDowell. He is survived by : his wife Della Carder of Ottumwa; his children, Dennis Carder (Shellie) of Quartzsite, AZ, Kathy Turner (Richard) of Panama City, FL, Bill Carder (Rosemary) of Indianola, IA and Teresa Fiedler of Milton, IA; his grandchildren, Gina Sedore (Dan) of Eldon, IA, Louis Pelsoni (Nichole) of Grand Island, NY, Alex Carder of Ames, IA, Alison Young (Brad) of Polk City, IA and Heather Snyder (Patrick) of Ames, IA; and his siblings, Ron "Tobe" Carder of Ottumwa, IA, Richard Carder (Carolyn) of Murfreesboro, TN and Connie Black (Ron) of Ottumwa, IA.. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.

A memorial has been established in Jack's name and can be mailed to Bill and Rosemary Carder, 19025 Hwy 69, Indianola, IA 50125.
