He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Liles and Caroline Hewett Liles; and his siblings, Albert, Dewight, Frank, Pardon, Everett, Emett, Bill, David, Sarah Talbott, Mary Liles, Rachel Greene and Ruth Boliou.

He is survived by : his wife Evelyn; his children, Gary Liles of Selma, Robert Liles of Richmond, Virginia and Kathy Crane (Mark) of Fairfield, Iowa; his grandchildren, Heather Blaustein (Steven), Tiffany Liles and Kyle McFadden; his great grandchildren, Alexis and Sofia; his siblings, Gene Liles of Eldon, Iowa, Pauline Lind of Eldon and Naomi Grunwald of Alamo, Texas.; and also Evelyn Benda.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family to be designated later.
