He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Furne and Ida Furne (Hansen); his siblings, Andrew, Richard, Edward, Roger, Frederick "Tiny", Willis, Francis Gute and Marla Juhl; and his siblings-in-law, Virgil Juhl, Jerry Jensen, Curtis Winther, Larry Winans, Marge Furne and Robin Furne.
He is survived by: his siblings, Dennis Furne (Elaine) of Atlantic, Wesley Furne (Dianne) of Denison, Craig Furne of Denison, Leanna Jensen of Spring Green and Carla Winans of Denison; and his sisters-in-law, Ileen Furne of Atlantic and Judy Furne of Battle Creek. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and several other relatives and friends.
