He was predeceased by: his father Howard DeFauw. He is survived by: his mother Nancy DeFauw (Briggs) of Cambridge, IL; his wife Stacy of Belle Plaine; his children, Shanon Lawrence (Deric) of Marengo, Shawn Lawrence (Donna) of Belle Plaine, April Bahr (Kenny) of Cedar Rapids and Richard DeFauw (Allie) of Belle Plaine; his grandchildren, Wyatt, Kenleigh, Grayson, Addison, Jaxon, Elijah, Beau and Cooper; his great grandchildren, Brooklyn and Parker; and his siblings, Lori Briggs of Cambridge and Gary DeFauw (Amy) of Genesco, IL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hrabak-Neuhaus Funeral Service (1704 7th Ave, Belle Plaine, IA 52208). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery.
