With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lita Schminke (Belle Plaine, Iowa), who passed away on April 17, 2018 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Glenn Schminke; and her siblings, Gertrude Meyer, Henry Albers and Inge Leonette. She is survived by: her sons, Craig (Lisa Wach) of Belle Plaine and Doug (Joanne) of Belle Plaine; her stepgranddaughter Melissa Weldon (Jason); her parents, Hartwig Albers and Bertha Lilie Albers; Belle Plaine.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Hiawatha Library, Mercy Medical Center or the Belle Plaine Lutheran Church.
