He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis "Bill" and Dorothy Skiye (Alley); his parents-in-law, Roy and Lenore "Jo" Cummings (Carolyn F. Skiye); his siblings, Marlene Harty, Duane Skiye, Sandy Stokke and Deloris Skiye; his grandchildren, Sarah Skiye and Connor Skiye; his nephews, Rob Skiye and Dwight Martin; his sisters-in-law, Marilyn Dillion and Sharon Skrovig; his son-in-law Dale Covington; and his brother-in-law Ken Skrovig.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Cummings (Car Hop); his grandsons, Daniel and Pinewood Derby Cars; and his children, Angela Covington (Manuel Lerna) of Alden, IA, Paula Schnell (Randy) of Clear Lake, IA, Daniel Skiye of Mason City, IA and Jennifer Headington (Jerry) of Pleasant Hill, IA. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
