We are sad to announce that on January 14, 2021, at the age of 95, Richard Eckhoff of Belmond, Iowa, born in Meservey, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernest Eckhoff and Tena Barkema Eckhoff; his wife Bonnie Gunderson; his daughter Julie Boelman; his grandson Brian Eckhoff; his brother Stewart Eckhoff; and his siblings-in-law, Connie Eckhoff and Dean Gunderson.

He is survived by : his sons, Jim Eckhoff (Connie) and Jon Eckhoff (Dawn) of Rochester, MN.; his son-in-law David Boelman; his grandchildren, Kimberly Grzywacz (John), Brandon Boelman (Valerie), Grant Eckhoff (Brianna) and Emily Eckhoff of Rochester, MN.; his great grandchildren, Emily Grzywacz, Jeremy Grzywacz, Danielle Wilkinson, Jeremiah Wilkinson, Jonah Grzywacz, Benjamin Eckhoff, Broderick Boelman and Kellen Boelman; and his sister-in-law Mavis Gunderson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
