He is survived by : his children, Kim Soma (Mark) of Belmond, Steven Smith (Devin) of Sioux City, Roy Smith (Monique) of Vinton, Kerri Pals (Dave) of Belmond, Brandon Smith (Susan Ford) of Kanawha and Bryan Smith; his grandchildren, Ashley, Sarah, Katelyn, Makayla, Jenna, Rebecca, Andrew, Elise and Will; his great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Ava, Avery and Bristol; his siblings, Jim Smith (Chris), Bruce Smith (Pat) and Judy Klink (Jon); and his close friend Linda Blau.
