She was predeceased by : her parents, Bernard Davenport and Marlyce Davenport; and her husband Bob. She is survived by : her children, Bob Jr. (Annette) of Ankeny, IA., Jim (Mary) of Belmond, Randy (Becky) of Minnetonka, MN and Rindee Erdmann (Mike) of Plymouth, MN; her grandchildren, Ryan Watermiller (Tara), Adam Watermiller (Alexis), Tim Erdmann (Brenna), Randy Erdmann (Erika), Jeff Erdmann (Erica Kristan), Julie Watermiller and David Watermiller; her sisters, Corrine Davenport (Kim), Linda Thompson of Belmond and Lorraine Robeson of Apple Valley, MN; and her sister-in-law Jayne Kintz (John) of What Cheer, IA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorials in Shirley's memory are suggested to Belmond Scout Troop 16 or the Belmond United Church of Christ.
