He is survived by: his mother Virginia Runyon Williams of Calamus, Iowa; and his brothers, Robert Hicks (Bob) of Calamus, Justin Hicks (Wayne) of Davenport, Dennis Hicks of Richmond and Darrell Hicks of Davenport. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
