Berta Rose Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Berta Rose formerly of Bettendorf, Iowa, born in Centerville, Iowa, who passed away on July 25, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Albright and Vivian Albright (Johnson); and her siblings, Eugene, Betty Gill and Mary McDonnell.
She is survived by: her spouse O. Arthur Rose, Jr.; her children, O. Art Rose, III (Diane Schmidt) and Cynthia Hughes (John); her grandchildren, Eric Dockus (Stephanie) and Lindsey Schutte (Kyle); and her great grandchildren, Charlie, Josie, Tanner and Hayden.
Due to Covid-19, a private family service will he held this week with a celebration of her life memorial service to be held next summer.
In lieu of flowers, she would be pleased to have contributions made to your favorite charity in her memory. Her favorite charity was LUVS for Youth Haven, an organization for the support of abused and neglected children.
