She was predeceased by: her parents, James Shackleford and Eva Shackleford; her husband Carl D. Estell; her brother Joseph Shackleford; and her grandparents, Catherine and Joseph Shackleford.

She is survived by: her children, Ann Pianka (Leroy) and Darin Estell (Barbara); her grandchildren, Andy Lopez, Bella Lopez, David Proksch, Michael Proksch (Andrea) and Jacob Proksch; her great grandchildren, Donald Boersma, Elliot, Stella, Joel, Penelope Proksch and Oakley Proksch; and her siblings, Mary Ann Bergeson, Joyce Nicholson and James Shackleford.
