It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Gene Fairweather (Bettendorf, Iowa), who passed away on March 9, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Fairweather and Celeste Fairweather (Stell); and his grandson Tyler Ruge. He is survived by: his wife Linda Newell; his children, Shawn Fairweather (Cynthia), Kim Ruge (Jim), Jeff Fairweather and Renee McGhee (Pete); his grandchildren, Kayla, Joshua, Madison, Conner, Nick, Erin, Jayden, Haylie, Zachary and Megan; and his siblings, John Fairweather (Carol) and Mary Meehan (Vaughn).
