She was predeceased by: her father Robert Coughlin. She is survived by: her mother Dorothy Coughlin (Gile); her sons, Brandon Ketelson and Matthew Ragan; and her brothers, Craig Coughlin (Becky) of Boulder, CO and Kirk Coughlin (Leann).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to ICDA (Iowa Choral Directors Association).
