We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2024, at the age of 95, Delmar L. Hintze of Bettendorf, Iowa, born in Stockton, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Herbert Hintze and Hazel Hintze (Timmsen); his wife Angie (Geary); and his siblings, Melvin Hintze, Jackie Hintze, Lois Kroeger, Lorraine Kroeger and Janice Wise.

He is survived by : his children, Lanese Wethington (Ryan) of Port Byron, IL, Lisa Bartusek (Mark) of Urbandale, IA and Lon Hintze (Chrissy) of Colorado Springs, CO; and his grandchildren, Meghan Mitros, Lauren Caleb, Amanda Bartusek, Hudson Hintze, Emmie Ponce DeLeon, Haley Hintze, Kelsi Merceri, Keana Wethington and Jakob Wethington. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.

“I was sorry to hear of the loss of your father. I have so many memories of our families spending time together on Parklane Circle. New Years Day was one of my favorites when we moved between the Hintze- Stradt- Cameron houses for the morning parade- noon meal- and afternoon football games. It was an amazing childhood and neighborhood to grow up in. Your parents will always be part of my childhood memories. Debbie Stradt Craig”
