She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Henry Nelson and Mary Nelson (Shollenberger); her husband Vincent Thiede; her children, Dean Thiede of Morrison, Richard Thiede (Pam) of Maquoketa, Dan Thiede (Teresa) of Camanche and John Thiede (Deanne) of Cedar Rapids; her brother Gerald Nelson (Jerry); her sister-in-law Berdea Hugunin; and her grandchildren, Jessica, Joanna, Kyle, Jake, Ben, Lucas, Madeline, Cole and Elizabeth. She was also cherished by 7 great grandchildren.
A celebration of Evelyn's life will take place this summer after Covid restrictions are lifted.
