He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Oliver Derby and Jean Derby (Aucutt); his daughters, Lynne Snow (Hays) of Bettendorf, Jayme Derby of Davenport and Mark; his grandchildren, Austin (Megan), Darick, Kaylin, Anthony, Corbin, Adalyn, Alivia and Coleson; his siblings, Kelly Long (Rob) of Taylor Ridge, Denise Meck (Bill) of Fairfield and Rick Derby of Davenport; and his sister-in-law Sue Derby of Bettendorf.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Honor Flight or to the University of Iowa Children's Hospital.
