He was predeceased by : his parents, William J. Polley and H. Cecelia Polley (Diercks); his wife Susan M. Holte; and his siblings, Rev. Laverne Polley, Lyle Polley, Howard Polley, Rev. Victor Polley, Merrill Polley, Ruth Mueller and Marlene Habedank.
He is survived by : his sons, William Polley (Naomi) of Davenport and Bruce Polley (Megan) of Maize, Kansas. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Davenport Lutheran Home or St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Worthington where he was a member.
