He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Darrah and Florence Darrah (Herrick); his wife May Louise McCreanor; his daughter Susan; his son-in-law David Wantz of Taneytown, Maryland; his son Mark; his daughter-in-law Lyn Darrah of Cumming, Iowa; his grandsons, James Darrah of Los Angeles, Gregory Darrah and Michael Darrah (Amber) of Urbandale, Iowa; and his sibling's children, Gail McCreanor of Springfield, Cheryl Austin-Albano (Jim) of West Springfield and John Murdock (Kathy) of Georgia.
