He is survived by: his children, Patrice Johnson, Mary Metz (Donnie), Mike Schwertman (Joyce), Steve Schwertman, Joe Schwertman and Jack Schwertman, Jr.; his sister Eleanor Schaefer; and his stepchildren, Connie Hatfield (Jack), Jill Mosely (Brian), Doug Briggs (Pam), Roger Briggs (Jeanne), Barry Briggs (Mary Anne), Mark Briggs (Jayne Robnett), Rick Briggs (Dorothy), Thomas Briggs, Steve Briggs and Michael Briggs (Patty).
