He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert and Ruby Carter Sr. (Roland); his former wife Patricia Wetteland; his wife Patricia Carter of Bettendorf; his children, Carissa Huffman (Patrick) of Bettendorf and Jason Carter of Camanche, Iowa; and his grandsons, Ethan, Garrett Carter of Camanche and Conor Huffman of Bettendorf.
