He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Dean and Margaret Mary Castrey (Rogiers); his son Thomas Castrey; his great grandchild Natasia Castrey; and his brother Robert Castrey.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Castrey-King (Bobby), Patti Umana (Miguel), Lori Emerick (David) and Chris Castrey (Stacy); his daughter-in-law Judy Castrey; his grandchildren, Miranda Castrey, Melissa Torres (Gabe), Travis Castrey (Summer), Jacob Castrey (Brooke), Natalie Wenzel (Jason), Gary Umana (Blair), Jordan Emerick and Ben Castrey; and his sisters-in-law, Fran Wolfe, Bonnie Castrey, Hunington Beach, Deanna Westmyer, Fountain Valley and Jeanne Cupp.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church or St. Mary's Monastery, Rock Island.
