John Retzl Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 6, 2021, at the age of 78, John Retzl of Bettendorf, Iowa, born in Davenport, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Retzl and Rachel Retzl (Claeys); and his brother Denny Retzl. He is survived by: his former wife Karen Sue McFate; his wife Kay Retzl; his children, Tim Retzl and Tracy Jo Retzl; his stepchildren, Laura Crumbleholm (Darren), Moline, Ron Baumbach (Jana), Chris Baumbach (Kelsi) and LeClaire; his brothers, Bob Retzl (Patricia), Steve Retzl (Karen) and Dale Retzl; his sister-in-law Lois Retzl; his grandchildren, Zach, Ty and Adrian; his stepgrandchildren, Sydney, Chelsea, Sheldon, Gracie, Madison, Colt, Jett and Vada; and his great grandchildren, Liam and Aubrey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
