It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of June Werlein of Bettendorf, Iowa, born in Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on July 24, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Freeman Gilmore and Clara Gilmore (Freitag); her siblings, Dorothy Curry, Wanda Rappa, Darlene Gau and Melford Gilmore; and her stepson-in-law Bob Salveron.
She is survived by: her former husband Richard Eshelman; her husband Melvin M. Werlein; her children, Vaughn Werlein (Karen) of Bettendorf, Dianne Guldenpfennig (Kenneth) of Moline and Rick Eshelman (Kathleen) of Davenport; her stepdaughter Jonette Salveron of Bowie, Maryland; and her grandchildren, Shawn Werlein, Dawn Woodworth, Traci DeVries, Jeff Hoogerwerf, Erick Eshelman, Laura Neuman, Tim Salveron and Brian Salveron. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Trinity Hospice or to Genesis Hospice.
